In our experience, the journey of youth ministry is more enjoyable when we travel it with other likeminded people. We created this course because we know that recruiting and retaining volunteers is a big job. These sessions are meant to help set up potential volunteers for success, by laying out some basic truths and realistic expectations of youth ministry with heartfelt encouragement that the joy of service is worth the challenge.

In three shorter sessions (about 15 minutes of course time total), Doug, Josh, and Jessica seek to answer the questions your potential volunteers have right at the beginning:

SESSION 1: "Why Should I Volunteer in Youth Ministry?"
SESSION 2: "What Would I Do as a Volunteer?"
SESSION 3: "If I'm Interested, What are my Next Steps?"

Our hope and prayer is that these sessions remind you of your early days of youth ministry and support the recruitment and training of those who are interested in joining your team.
